The Chelsea striker has had a great start to the season and his secondary role under Lampard could see him go elsewhere in January.
AC Milan want to find a striker in the January transfer window. It was reported that the Italian outfit are weighing up five names for that position, but ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ has come up with a sixth.
Olivier Giroud is another of the attackers AC Milan are interested in.and another two Serie A clubs also want the Frenchman: Juventus and Inter Milan.
It is no surprise that Giroud has attracted plenty of interest in recent months because he has had an excellent start to the season. He has scored eight goals in 14 appearances.
Despite his numbers, his role at Chelsea is a secondary one and this could make the World Cup winner look for a move away in the winter. It is looking likely that Giroud will move to the Serie A.
Even though is not first choice. the striker revealed earlier this month that he wants to stay in West London so his future is uncertain.
