Towards the end of the first half of the match between Everton and Arsenal, Arsenal’s Dani Ceballos kicked Colombian Yerry Mina from behind. It was very dangerous and could have led to a red card.
Arsenal are in an even worse situation. The team coached by Mikel Arteta lost 2-1 to Everton which sees the Gunners slide even further down the Premier League table.
During the game, Dani Ceballos could have been sent off before half-time. The Spaniard made a bad challenge on Yerry Mina with his studs showing and at knee height.
The Colombian did not react well to it and also retaliated. He threatened to punch the midfielder, but neither player saw red.
The referee gave a free-kick to Everton and called for calm. The two players then shook hands and got on with the rest of the game.
