Juan Guillermo Cuadrado left Juventus with 10 men against Fiorentina inside the opening 20 minutes. He was dismissed for a terrible challenge on Castrovilli.
Juventus were reduced to 10 men very early on when they were already 0-1 down. Juan Cuadrado made a dangerous tackle on Castrovilli and saw a red card.
While trying to get to the ball, Cuadrado went to ground and caught Castrovilli’s right shin with his studs. It was without doubt a red card.
The Colombian was initially shown a yellow card, but the VAR buzzed in and the referee Federico La Penna upgraded the yellow card to red.
Juventus were already losing after a great pass by Ribery for Vlahovic who put the men in purple in front. Pirlo’s men were forced to play more than 70 minutes with just 10 players.
