Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman confirmed at a press conference that Ousmane Dembélé has been called up for Tuesday’s match.
The Frenchman could be part of the starting lineup in place of Leo Messi, who will miss the game due to discomfort in his ankle.
After the defeat against Cadiz (2-1), Barcelona issued an official statement with Ousmane Dembélé’s medical report: a right hamstring injury ruled the player out.
Three weeks later, the Frenchman began training with the rest of his teammates and this Monday, the coach of Barcelona, Ronald Koeman, confirmed his return for the match against Eibar.
The Dutchman said that he would not offer more details until Tuesday morning, although he did confirm the entry of Dembélé, who could return a little less than a month after his injury.
The 23-year-old could also replace Leo Messi up front, as Koeman himself said he will miss the clash with discomfort in his ankle.
Nevertheless, Barca take to Camp Nou with an attack formed by Antoine Griezmann, Philippe Coutinho and Martin Braithwaite, although Koeman did not rule out a Dembélé start.
