The defender had been isolating for two days after he had been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19. In the end, the tests confirm that the player has the virus.

This means that Gabriel will miss at least two more matches, after already having to miss Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday.

On the other hand, Arsenal reassured with Willian and David Luiz. Both were also isolated after feeling unwell, but the club reports that they will return to training in the coming days.
