“Agreement in principle for Marcelino García Toral to coach Athletic until June 2022”, Athletic Bilbao wrote in a tweet alongside a photo of the manager.
It was also specified that the deal will be until 30th June this year and stressed his “vast array of experience” in the elite. It recalled the 416 matches as manager, with 320 in the league, 54 in the cup and 42 in Europe.
