After the end of the ceremony, FIFA made known the votes from the journalists, national team managers and captains for The Best award, which saw Robert Lewandowski crowned the best player of 2020.
He was the big favourtie and it was confirmed: Robert Lewandowski is the winner of The Best award which recognises the best player of 2020. It was his first nomination and he ended up winning the award after a great year.

Once the Polish striker won the award, FIFA shared through their web page both the voting count and votes that gave Lewandowski the award.
Like is usual, in the list figure the name of journalists, national team managers and captains alongside their votes. Nevertheless, their participation was a percentage, as the popular vote from fans also counted.
